How to Clip In Hair Extensions - Aashi Beauty

Before installing your clip in hair extensions Canada, please ensure you always start by thoroughly brushing your hair to get rid of any tangles, with a soft paddle brush or a tangle teezer. (See below if you would like to purchase our Aashi Beauty brush) Also, be sure to brush each weft out before clipping it into your hair. Start from the bottom and work your way up the weft, using a soft paddle brush.

Separate a straight thin section of hair with your finger or a comb at the nape of your neck and clip the rest of your hair away by using a hair clip.

Hair Extensions

Step 1: Weft #1: Take a Three-Clip Weft

Find the center of your head and clip in the middle clip into the roots of your hair. Be sure to clip as close to the roots as possible. Once the middle clip is in place, clip the left side and then the right.

Step 2: Weft #2: Take a Smaller Four-Clip Weft

Separate a straight thin section of hair above the first clipped weft, and clip the rest of the hair away with a hair clip.

Step 3: Take the Smaller Four-Clip Weft

Find the center of your head and clip in the middle two clips into the roots of your hair first, and then follow by clipping the side clips.

Step 4: Weft #3: Take a Larger 4 Clip Weft

Separate a straight thin section of hair from ear to ear right above the second clip in weft, and clip away the rest of the hair. Take the largest four-clip weft and clip it in.

Step 5: Weft #4: Take the Other Three-Clip Weft

Separate a straight thin section of hair about two inches below the crown of your head and clip the rest of the hair away with a clip. Take the three clip weft and clip it in.

Now, all the large wefts at the back of your head have been clipped in, and only small ones should remain.

Step 6: The Smaller Wefts: Two-Clip and One-Clip Wefts

These are the wefts that go on the sides of your hair. There are two two-clip wefts and four one-clip wefts. They will add volume on the sides and make everything blend in more naturally. Take a two-clip weft and secure both clips.

Next, separate a section of hair right above the two-clip weft and clip the rest of the hair away. Clip in the wefts onto a small piece of hair as close to the roots as possible, above the two-clip weft, anywhere where you feel you need more hair.

Repeat the same process on the other side of your head. Brush your hair and check in the mirror to make sure that all the wefts are hidden, especially in the back.

Just like that –you are an official #AASHIANGEL. Practice makes perfect! With time you will get better and faster with installing your clip in extensions.
