Product Feature: Classic Ceramic Flat Iron - Aashi Beauty

Ah, gone are the days of using an iron to straighten your hair. For as long as I can remember, achieving a sleek straight hairstyle was all the rage. In fact, did you know that straightening hair dates back all the way to the ancient Egyptian era? For centuries women have been using various methods to achieve the classic sleek straight look. Just think back to what history says Cleopatra looked like. She was always shown with black graphic wings from kohl and long sleek straight hair. Thanks to technology and human innovation, we now live in an era where flat irons are commonly used to achieve this desired hairstyle. In fact, flat irons are a common hair tool found in a majority of households, worldwide!

Are you looking to join others in owning one of the most common hair tools in the world? If you’ve been in the market for a flat iron then you’ve come to the right place! Allow us to introduce the Aashi Beauty Classic Ceramic Flat Iron!

What is a Flat Iron?

Flat irons are the most popular type of straightener. They are a device that is used for smoothing and straightening hair, by pressing and pulling sections of hair through flat, long rectangular pieces. This hair tool is typically made from common materials such as titanium, ceramic or tourmaline.

What type of hairstyles does a flat iron create?

Flat irons are an amazing versatile hair tool that creates sleek straight hair, bouncy curls, or soft waves! If there was one hair tool I’d say every single female needs, it’s a flat iron! I mean, having a 3-in-1 hair tool that creates versatile hairstyles is a game changer. Plus, it’s super convenient for travelling, and if you have limited space for storing objects!

How do you use a flat iron?

Just like everything in life, practice makes perfect! Styling your hair with the Classic Ceramic Flat Iron is easy! Here are a few steps you can follow to achieve beautiful results!

Tips for straightening your hair:
  1. Ensure your hair is fully dried by using a blow dryer or air drying it. Never ever use a flat iron on wet hair!

  2. Use heat protection products to ensure your hair is protected from heat damage.

  3. Brush your hair to ensure there are no knots. Then, section your hair into smaller portions for ease and comfort.

  4. Now section your hair once again into even smaller sections. Taking 1” sections, place it between the two heated plates, press firmly, then slowly, run the flat iron down the hair from the roots to the ends. Repeat once or twice max if needed, per section. Use this method for all of your hair, until the desired look is achieved.

Tips for curling your hair:

  1. Ensure your hair is fully dried by using a blow dryer or air drying it. Never ever use a flat iron on wet hair!

  2. Use heat protection to ensure your hair is protected from heat damage.

  3. Brush your hair to ensure there are no knots. Then, section your hair into smaller sections for ease.

  4. Now, section your hair once again into even smaller sections. Then take 1” sections and place them between the two heated plates. Press firmly, and slowly rotate the flat iron back on itself in a half-turn motion. Keeping the iron in the same half-turn motion, slowly move the iron down the hair. Repeat for the rest of your hair!

Pro tip - practice, practice, practice! Achieving a curled hairstyle is doable, however, takes practice to find the right technique and method for yourself.

Tips for waving your hair:

Taking 1” parts at a time, you will begin by pressing the hair through the two blades. As you slowly pull your hair through the iron by dragging the iron down, you will begin to slowly flip the iron up, then pull it down and flip the iron down, pull more hair down and flip up again, pulling more hair down then flip down again. So, you will be continually flipping the iron up, pulling some hair through, then flipping it down, pulling more hair through. Repeat this process for the rest of your hair.
